VILLA SKY ONE

The commission was based on the client’s premise of continuing the design concept developed for Villa Sky. With a broader set of requirements and an adaptation to its new surroundings, the project pushes the ideas explored in the previous house to their limits. The double-height living room, with a roof perforated by multiple skylights, allows natural light to filter through during the day and softly illuminates the landscaped roof of the main building at night. A series of courtyards perforate the house, connecting bedrooms and bathrooms while bringing vegetation deep into the interior. These contemplative patios turn daily life into a constantly evolving experience, shaped by shifting light and shadow and the seasonal transformation of the planting. Vegetation, together with the striking sea views, becomes the true protagonist of the project, while the interior design remains calm and understated, acting as a quiet backdrop.
